Our story
Pan Travel was born from a deep attachment to Romania and a simple desire: to showcase a still-unspoiled country through its villages, traditions, and the warmth of its people. A Romania that unfolds at a leisurely pace, away from conventional itineraries.
The agency was founded in 1998 in Cluj-Napoca, in the heart of Transylvania. For over twenty years, the English-speaking team has developed deep knowledge of the territory — from Saxon villages to the monasteries of Bucovina, from the Carpathians to the Danube Delta — and has built lasting relationships with family-run guesthouses, craftspeople, and guides who accompany travelers on the ground.
Today, Cornelia coordinates trips from Cluj-Napoca. Alongside her, Andrei and the team of English-speaking guides design each itinerary with the same commitment: to listen, understand, and adjust. Their passion for rural life, local activities, and traditions guides every route, whether it's a family self-drive tour, a trek in the Carpathians, or a small-group stay.

Yes, as much as possible. Changes made more than 30 days before departure are generally free of charge (excluding hotel rate differences). As your departure approaches, some bookings become less flexible — we always inform you of your options before confirmation.
